Rangers International Football Club of Enugu popularly called Enugu Rangers is one of only two Nigerian division one football teams (along with Heartland) that has never been relegated.
They are based in Enugu and play their home games at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium. In 2008–09, they played some games in nearby Abakaliki and Nnewi as their stadium was renovated for the 2009 FIFA U-17 World Cup. Before the season started, Enugu State governor Sullivan Chime paid the backlog of sign-on fees dating to three years ago and all other debts owed the players. In November 2008, Rangers became the first Nigerian clubside to be a public company and sell ownership stock. However the deal fell through, and the club began the 2009 season in debt.<\/P>","A7F9B63E25A659E5":"Enugu Rangers International","729294714CECF588":"","D99F4C61777FBED8":"","50DCDC085A8BF7E4518E56CD69FC7EB2":"30,000","42B1B76A697DFC47":"","92DC52DD0D4041625C68AA7C024C7F67":"Nigeria","4268BF6963F167300062241A864D4973":"","9262149CB11F269E":"Enugu","937DE1BE2366A0DF":"","89F75C88F810F7B54F1BC067C7848CF5":"Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium","B52BFE7EA0432304":"","E4FAE8AE56FCFFF1DC7AFC02ACE5DEE8":"64","C6E00DEB351621C4":"12515","D5AF1249DEAE15440A9E01742A8A4E92":"0","3D9B31C67DFDD0FC8C73053EF2ADBD66":"","0C852134AA40B2DD":"1","e_index":1};
