<\/STRONG>Following an injury to Mark Jackson, Butler made his debut as a substitute at Leyton Orient and he remained in the side for much of the season.
Signed a club record four year deal towards the end of that season and both he and is continuing to meet his undoubted potential.
He was superb in United's promotion season of 2004\/05 and attracted interest from Championship side QPR during the subsequent summer.
Had quite an injury-hit 2005\/06 but is determined to regain full fitness in 2006\/07.
