Based in Kuwait City, Qadsia Club is one of the most popular clubs in Kuwait. Al Qadsia was founded in 1953 and it was called Al Jazira before being renamed to Qadsia SC in 20 October 1960. Qadsia currently plays in the Kuwaiti Premier League and has won this league 16 times.

Qadsia plays in the Mohammed Al-Hamad Stadium, which is in Hawalli, and is the largest stadium in Kuwait.
